Massimiliano Caldi
The passion for music actually started from the piano. After discovering this wonderful instrument around the age of 4 ... at 16 I discovered the orchestra, which, with its magic and enchantment of an organism only seemingly monolithic but in fact founded on the action of dozens and dozens of thinking heads ... still holds me bound to it, still, after so many years.
Biography
Massimiliano Caldi (Milan 1967), graduated in piano, composition and conducting, with extensive international experience in both symphony and opera, operetta and ballet, a special focus on contemporary music and the enhancement of 19th-century works released from the repertoire, is distinguished by his great professional training and conducting style that is always brilliant and straightforward.

Masterclass
Massimiliano Caldi combines his intense artistic activity with a deep commitment to training new generations of conductors.
Through in-depth work on symphonic and operatic repertoire, Caldi imparts to young musicians the tools to develop a solid interpretive vision, authentic expressiveness and a deep understanding of the role of the conductor today.
Teaching in Conservatories
The experience as the principal lecturer of the Florence Conducting Masterclass in Florence, which ended in 2017, was more recently resumed in 2022 at the Conservatorio “B. Marcello” in Venice, in 2023 at the Conservatorio “N. Sala” in Benevento, and finally from autumn 2023 at the Conservatorio “Nino Rota” in Monopoli.
